We love our pets with great passion within the UK and the industry that supports them is a multi billion pound industry. We buy toys, bedding spend a fortune on food and treats. We have vets bills that are often astronomical not to mention the insurance for them being hurt or ill, if they hurt someone else. The list can go on and on. Expenses that most people are willing to pay for that cuddly furry friend. But what resources are available if our four legged friends go missing? The Internet has been a great resource to pet owners that find themselves in this very unpleasant position. The online communities and services on offer really aid the chance of getting back all of pets that go missing, particularly the many lost cats and lost dogs that often go astray. There  is even services that have sniffer dogs to help the lost return home safely. Of course the introduction of GPS tracking is not new but also not used my most pet owners. With this technology becoming more accessible hopefully the anguish of losing a pet will hope fully in the not to distance future be a thing of the past.
